Course Details

Overview

This is a comprehensive 3-day training course. The delegates will cover a wide variety of First Aid emergency circumstances & situations. You will learn how to make an initial assessment, deal with an emergency with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective manner and evaluate if further medical assistance is required. Delegates will also be informed of all updated protocol changes that may have arisen since their last training course.

  • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty

  • Shock (including Anaphylaxis)

  • Sprains and strains
  • Burns
  • Asthma
  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy
  • Stroke

Who Should Attend

It is a requirement of the Health and Safety Law that employers provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees. If your First Aid assessment identifies the need for a qualified First Aider, this course will provide you with the suitable, highly trained personnel.

  • Certification: The successful delegate will receive a certificate of training which will be valid for 3 years. Annual refresher courses are recommended
