Course Aims & Overview
To instruct an operator to prepare and operate 3A Scissor lift type of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) and to obtain an IPAF accredited (PAL Card) operator license.
Duration: 1 day
Assessment: Oral questions throughout the course with a theory and practical assessment.
Certification: On attaining the relevant pass level delegates will receive an IPAF PAL Card photo ID license and certificate of training.
Maximum number of delegates per course: 6
At the end of the course
Delegates will be aware of the relevant legislation and guidance. Be aware of the need to refer to the machine’s operation manual. Complete a Pre-use inspection on their selected MEWP. Be Aware of the Safe operating practices.
